PHILOSOPHY | Laura's goal is to bring an easy experience to the design process for her clients. She enjoys partnering with them on design ideas to create a curated space unique to their home. Her design philosophy is to be attentive to the principles & elements of design including: line, texture, color, pattern, balance, & scale. She believes this is of utmost importance to create a well-balanced design. Laura is known for her high attention to detail.

STYLE |  As an award-winning interior designer with a seasoned eye, Laura brings a 'fresh' approach to all her projects. It is her passion for design that creates a fun experience for her clientele resulting in beautiful designs that are timeless, sophisticated, and uniquely original. Laura  strives for excellence in every job she takes on; she leans into of all styles of decor and designs both residential and commercial projects nationally.

PRESS/AWARDS/MEDIA | Laura  has been a featured designer in People magazine for her celebrity nursery design in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles, CA. She is a three-time award winner for the American Society of Interior Design/ASID Design Excellence Awards in the categories of Best Singular Living Space, Special Function Space and Total Remodel. She has been guest designer on KMSP FOX 9 "The Jason Show" & "Morning Buzz," (Minneapolis), CBS 5 KPHO Morning News and "House Talk" on KKNT AM 960 - The Patriot (Phoenix). Laura enjoyed being on the design team for the 2017 ASID MN Showcase Home where her work was featured in Star Tribune and Mpls./St. Paul Magazine.

LOCATIONS | Laura is based in Los Angeles, but pursues her passion nationwide; from a ski home in Utah to a penthouse in New York City - no project is out of her reach. Since opening up Laura Wiedmann Interior Design in 2010, Laura has worked on multiple projects coast to coast including: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, New York, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, and Washington.

HOBBIES | Laura’s favorite hobbies include cooking, photography, boating, biking, and traveling. She has recently picked up the art of painting and is greatly enjoying this additional creative outlet. Ceramics are next on her list!
